Bloodrock Clan was created by a lone orc named Grunk. He didn't want a huge clan, nor even in a hurry to make a strong clan. He just wanted to make his spot in the world. Pulling together the friends he had met while alive, he created the Bloodrock Orc Clan (BOC) in August of 1998 on the Sonoma shard.
Of his starting lineup, there was Gompf, K'Chomp, and Trugagh. These three were the Lords under Grunk, who assumed role as Warchief. Gompf was a mage/tamer that was always on duty when it came to helping fellow orcs with things such as gating, etc. K'Chomp was the typical orc, charge and chop as many things up with his axe as possible. Trugagh was the archer/tactician of the group, always holding fight nights and tactics training for the orcs.
We piled all of our cash together and got a thatched-roof cottage east of Cove. The area was clear all around our hut and it was perfect to create a village by the sea. As we hunted and gained more money, we bought more huts.
With the help of Gompf taming spiders and bears and transfering them to other orcs, we made random raids on dungeons such as Despise. We pked our share of humans, but we always ran into trouble. One such occassion is after Trugagh had finished a Fight Night. He told everyone that the clan would take over an entire mine and mine it until we got tired. The orcs would kill every human that entered. Well, a human was in there when the clan arrived, so they ran him out. The human brought friends to scout out the mines and then they recalled. All of a sudden a gate opens and liches come pouring out. The orcs are killing liches left and right until too many lich lords come through after about the fifth gate and ends up killing everyone. The humans didn't loot the orcs, but they put ore at the entrance to block them out (was a common trick back then to block the entrance with ore so no one could come in and the mine would be all yours).
After a few weeks of building up our village, the clan is told of a fort that can be taken over. It is just north of the Desert of Compassion. The clan scouts it out and places the first house just north of the fort in the forest. Grunk places a new guildstone at this house and calls it the Bloodrock Clan (BC).
Moving to this new location also puts the clan right beside the famous virtuous city of Oasis. Their reaction to a band of orcs beside their city was a little suprising. Not only did they give the clan a house in the center of their desert city, they also donated around 50,000 gold pieces to help get things going. Jonas, the founder of Oasis, would make regular trips to visit the fort which was more than an honor.
Life was great for the orcs. They had houses for all types of purposes from training huts to shrines. The clan had grown well over forty orcs, which was way above Grunk's expectations. An orc mage named Og was keeping up with a new Bloodrock website that far surpassed the quality of our first site. Trugagh and Gompf kept events going such as hunts, raids, and Fight Nights. And a dedicated orc named Wazdakka was filling in as Lord for the inactive K'Chomp, which was a much appreciated change after everyone seen how hard-working Wazdakka was. When Wazdakka came, so did the Bloodaxes, a rough and tough scouting group that consisted of Wazdakka, Thraka Gangaskul, Kelnozz, etc.
Hard times soon came however. Oasis guards were killing orcs on sight and denying it afterwards. The entire Sonoma shard seemed to become blue-pks that would kill the orcs and never go red. Some Bloodrock members were getting out of line so much that they would be kicked. Slowly the clan was losing numbers and relations.
Then the hardest hit came. Grunk disappearred. No goodbye, no I'll be back soon, nothing. The clan was at a standstill waiting for Grunk to send word of what was going on. Bloodrock numbers fell to half of what they were within a week. Gompf had always been the leader in Grunk's place, so after about two weeks of waiting to hear from Grunk, Trugagh and Wazdakka sought out Gompf to get advice. Gompf had given up on the clan aswell (college started for him in real-life). He said that he would be leaving the world soon and didn't have time to lead the clan. Shocked wasn't the word for what Wazdakka and Trugagh felt.
Refusing to give up, Wazdakka was the orc to take charge and make the decision that both he and Trugagh should co-lead the clan. Both were hard working and neither would let the clan die. Trugagh accepted without a second thought. A new hut was placed north of the Yew Orc Fort and a new stone was set. It seemed a new generation of Bloodrock was at hand.
Things never did get better however. After about two weeks of co-leading the clan, Wazdakka said he was taking his leave from the clan aswell due to other interests (he was making an elf guild). Trugagh immediately asked Og to help in the leading process, by which he accepted. Og helped lead for about two weeks aswell and then took his leave from the clan. The same leading pressures that made Wazdakka and Og leave were also weighing down on Trugagh. In December of 1998, the clan had fell to about five active remaining members: Trugagh, Grelug GrugBoom, Thraka Gangaskul, Gruggug, and one other that is long forgotten. With much sadness, Trugagh disbanded the Bloodrock Clan.
The Rebirth
Trugagh returned to his homeworld of Great Lakes a few months later with renewed motivation. Hell and highwater couldn't stop him. A hut was placed east of Cove in the same area that the clan started at on Sonoma. A stone was placed and the Cove Orc Fort was established as the Bloodrock Fort. Quickly such orcs as Thraka Gangaskul, Wazdakka Gutzmeg, Og, Rughak/Ogtuk, and Grelug GrugBoom came to join up in Bloodrock glory once again. Other new orcs such as Blitzdakka, Rogrog, Gnosh, Supcort, Uruk-Hai, and Atticukuk (Itchy) made their mark fast as Bloodrock up-and-comers. Bloodrock Clan (Urk) was alive and in full speed in early June 1999.
Since then, Bloodrock moved back to the fort north of the Desert of Compassion. The clan has grown and become more like orcs day after day. Topping at 80 members at one time, the clan decided to go chaos and war everyone to promote roleplayed orcs on another level that had yet to be successful. Trugagh kicked everyone from the guildstone and only the most dedicated and loyal orcs were allowed to return. Trugagh retired as Chieftain around January 2000. In his place came Kyth, a brutal orc that was known as the toughest as they come. Kyth retired in mid-2000 and passed on chieftain rank to Vrishnak, who has led the clan successfully to present day. Upstanding orcs of recent day include Thraka Gangaskul, Grool, Vurk-Bak, Bidash, Morglum, GragDash, Bashnak, Grurag, Vrishnak, Zarbag, Porp, and of course the old Trugagh that is still alive and kicking! The clan has between 50-75 active orcs and has gotten as high as 195 wars at one time (more than any guild ever in Ultima Online).

*Ne'rull picks up Trugagh's Quill Pen Dips it in Blood and Continues to write on that old Bloodied Rock*
In the final days when Skrall'nig was Klerggoth, The campfire stories burned with Mutiny, Not adventures.
Orcs whispered and the cold blood of rumors flowed throughout the Ranks. Then the implausible happened. Skrall'nigs legacy plummeted beyond measure.
(She deleted Ne'rulls account in attempt to gain control of the Guild Stone.) When the Clan heard the news.. A fury of violence ruptured!
Pitch-black Smoke flourish from the anarchy! a Skrimish within a thick undiscerning haze of smog that even Orc vision couldn't penetrate spread.
Orc shadows blindly clashed in the dim blackness. High-pitched arrows shrieking through dark puncutured through the outcasts!
Orcish traitors fell one by one until none where left, When smoke cleared away, Yulakgh kneel's scrutinizing the arrows,
knowing that even HE wasn't capable of such accuracy in that Blackness, perceiving that this was Xuk'luk work, Xuk'luk then became the
Clans new Cheiftain.
Xuk'luk Tuguznal without a dought was the mastermind behind roadblocks that where put up everywhere. Organized the first wave of stealth archers before it
became popular. Xuk'luk was the very best at setting ambushes and traps, Unbeatable in combination with Yulakgh.
Xuk'luk was a Cheiftain with a great personal charm and always had a good story to tell. Xuk'luk was a masterpiece of a person and an Orc sadly he passed away in real life. R.I.P our highly regarded Xuk'luk Tuguznal.
With a heavy-heart in the air, We knew Xuk'luk would want the clan to move forward, Around May 2009 a Peon by the name of
Kraarug was turning heads around the training camps. An Orc which brought to mind old campfire stories of Vrishnak, Bashnak, and Grurag.
Outperforming others his age, quickly learning the rules with no effort. This highly deserving Peon was quickly promoted to Grunt steadfast
scaling the ranks towards an alluring throne as Cheiftain, Orcs like Shun'ja,Pruk,Ronk,Grak,Snarl,Jhu'rloth,LudKrud,Hug'orgh,Krothu,Vraagra and more all stood proudly behind this young version of Kyth named Kraarug.
As the largest guild on the server Kraarug Led the clan on daily raids, Kraarug commanded Orc Mages like
Ne'rull to created unearthly magic portals as swarming bloodthirsty orcs would pour through Dungeon by Dungeon. The outnumbered humans got pulverized by Kraarug's war mace while Bogugh's Axe separated heads! Orcs like Krothu, Omegethu and Ludkrud would skillfully maneuver the encounters while blaring ''KRIMP! KRIMP DA OMIE!'' as they enclosed and killed their victems. The server dewdz saw this and continued to whine to the Game Masters as they usually do. Knowing that the Orcs are at a major disadvantage. In Early 2010 The day came where Kraarug passed his Reign to a deserving Orc named Vishakt.
The Gods(GM-Derrick) saw this and rewarded the Orcs with a locked down Thu'mog with Kraarugs name engraved on it
near the campfire where that highly deserving Peon named Kraarug once dreamed to become great.
Under Vishakts Rule there was a prolific aura throughout the Fort. Vigorous Orc Lords led nightly assaults,
We had 15-20 Orcs regularly doing roadblocks and raids, When the humans tried to counterattack The Fort
they would collide with a flurry of arrows from the fort walls. Hiding Orcs would anxiously await well rehearsed killings.
The departed humans piled outside the fort walls, Veteran Orcs like Thigog where waking up to the bloodlust!
(RL got busy for Vishnakt) So Vishnakt held a Klerggoth clomp.. Skandi-gak won but her rule was short-lived, Another orc by the name of Fug'bum
bludgeoned her face in and ruled but didn't run things for long... Krothu came to power on June 2011.
Krothu is considered by many to be one of the greatest Klerggoths to have ever lived,
In his day, Krothu led a massive invasion that almost crushed the Entire Server. He Commanded the charge!
Battering Rams gained momentum as good-for-nothing Peons died! Krothu then sent
Grunts like Gizza Bugugg,Bug'Guk,Kri'Huk,Kro'gash to fill in! Ramming With repeated blows!
cracks grew steadily until a massive hole was created! Orcs began to swarm in
breaking the lines of the panic-stricken humans.(Foolish enough to stand in there way)
Zodbad Axe slashed humans wide open, as Shunja's arrows punctured far-off human mages!
Orc Captian Grak yelled! (Bludglet'! BLUDGLET OLL!!!) Orcs began to ransack and confiscate
the spoils of war as Wargs gobbled up the dead... The Pyres of victory burned high under the twlight sky.
Krothus armies of Orcs succeeded in slaying Thousands of Humans and wiping the province of Cove off the map.
It became ''Krothuland.''
(UO RENAIASSANCE BEGINS)
With the destruction of our fort on Secondage, The Skigod (Derrick) vanishing and with so many orcs laying dormant, it wasn't long before the clan found a new home on a player-run server called UO Renaissance, Ludkrud the orc was the one to take the reigns towards a new land, LudKrud led the clan Fortless, head held high and established an outpost in the Desert of Compassion. Recognizable Orcs like Krothu, Vishakt, Bogugh, Zorglug to name a few joined and stood with Ludkrud. Humans began to challenge the Orcs and they would die by Krothu's Axe, Vishakts spear would drive straight through mounted humans chest. The Blood of Drug'gar surged within these orcs...
After a few Years and many Rouge Moons, Like many times before A new Cheiftain came to power but this time... a repulsive battle-scarred relic of an orc emerged from the past... Proud Xegugg Stood holding that old Burdensome Warhammer she heaved around for all these years. Cries of ''NOOOOGRAH!'' echoed throughout that Desert from Orcs like Gol Metzak-Dok, Zorglug, Naz'lug, Hidurg and Kor'Kesh. Bloodstained history and some Orcs say perhaps the Gods Krenbluk'a, Belok and Krull'nuk smiled down at the clan, As even more humans came to the desert to stop living and get consumed by scorpions.
Xegugg cried out the order's at the top of her fuming voice (Geep R'hee'z!!! Shu'uk Choks! an Gukkda Uld Bludchok'hai Fort!) High Ranking Lords whipped and forced unimportant peons to mine Iron and gather supplies on empty stomachs, As Brawny well fed Grunts chopped a clearing in the thick Forest, Hulking trees fell as imposing spiked walls arose. High-minded Orc Mages along Architectural minded Gukkas devised murder holes, bottle neck choke points. As a Hair Raising Orc Fort came into view.
Early July 2017 After Ironed willed years of leadership, Xegugg was finally bested by a New Klerggoth Xuthakugg.
UO Legacy Begins:
With a branch of Bloodrock Orcs remaining on Renaiassance Ne'rull began to venture to new lands visiting
a Shard named Game of Clones then meeting an Orc named Zugu on Nov 2017 venturing to a shard with the same mechanics as Angel Island called UO Legacy.
The Bloodrock Orcish Ship struck UO Legacy soil the land was FRESH!(The Shard just launched) Orcish horns echoed through the dismal fog
Ne'rull blared out ''DIZEMBARRHK!' From a thick mist Orcs began to become visible Vishakt equiped with spear, Krothu gripping his two-handed Axe, Zugu Heavy Crossbow strapped to his back, Omegutho holding a club in one hand with torch in other , Ludkrud gripping his Bow with arrows between tusks, Gu'tak with Kryss, Kubub , Badbog, bogdan, As More stepped foot on shore. This was the Menacing presence of The Bloodrock Clan charging into Uo Legacy...
Ne'rull hunched over pointing to his highest ranking Orcs Vishkta, Krothu, Ludkrud and Zugu and others! '' JUZ LIAK DA UDDER LANDZ!! DIZ BLUDCHOK LAND JAT!! TELL DA GRUNTS TA GUKK UH FORT!''
Well fed Grunts whipped Insignificant Orcish Peons to mine ore and chop trees, The undernourished Peons collapsed while working as Grunts laughed and guzzled grog they hoarded from the great voyage keeping an eye on the stronger more worthy Peons that may one day become Grunts! One day as Legacy Orc fort was under construction a silhouette of a frightening dark cloud in the shape of an orcish hand blackout the sun! [Razor light levels option
wouldn't work here forcing the humans to either fight us in the dark, bring a torch or cast In Lor on themselves]
The exhilarating darkness inspired the Orcs establishing a home in the now Dark Abandoned Orc Fort of Malas.
One night Belok [The Orcish God of Death] Summoned the orcs to his underworld layer! Orcs fell to their knees praising the Under World God ''LIZTEN AN OBEY! BUTCHER OLL DA UMIES!'' Dark Portals emerged as psychopathic fanatic Orcs hurled themselves into them obeying their Gods command! butchering every single human in Town.
Again our numbers swelled to the largest guild on the server, The miserable 'leet dewd humans'' could do nothing to see in the fort the thick bloodshed of the purposeless humans flowed like grog, We even had once clashing clan members Orcs from other shards like Grizlok bedeviled with maniacal engineering, and Battle-scarred Laghed. show at the fort to aid join in the upcoming carnage. As a hair-rasing 20 year Bloodrock Clan anniversay began to ascend Trugagh Himself emerged from the shadows of the campfire and bestowed wisdom upon the Clan with many grogs clashing and listening kubs, Trugagh mysteriously vanished.
Habitually Bloodrock Clan brought the entire population to their knees, Bored from over achievement The Clan looked to sail again, Word reached us about another Shard (Hesitant to sail due to the bright colors and tram looking gear) Not knowing that some of the greatest Orcs and Stories would come from this voyage and late to the server launch with odd's stacked against us, Bloodrock Clan set sail to UO Outlands.
On Monday October 29, 2018 UO OUTLANDS HISTORY BEGINS.
Bloodrock Clan arrives on Outland soil. Ne'rull traverses the land, He began looking for a home for the Bloodrock Clan, unquestionably knowing the spot he finds will become a major hub so to choose carefully. he found orc forts occupied by kraizes (Npc Orcs) that cannot be lured away without vanishing and appear back in the forts, Leaving no stone unturned the ambitious old orc got creative and found an area called Smugglers Den, It was a gem. It had a cave a fire pit with fallen logs and a very defendable rock bridge.
The only complication was that the houses in front of this prize was occupied by griefer humans. Having very little gold Ne'rull and the only other orc at this time Zugu piled resources together and placed a small scout tower near in a spot that didn't come to light as placeable through human eyes.
Ne'rull and Zugu persisted in amassing wealth and concurrently devised a strategy to assert Bloodrock's control over the entire area. Furthermore, additional orc reinforcements arrived, among them Pug'rok, an orc who had previously joined us in our exploits in the lands of Greatlakes. Another orc autonomously acquired a significant residence in our vicinity, assuming a crucial role in our operations. In those days, A whirlwind of activity swept through the Bloodrock land (smugglers den area) as tension reached its peak
March 6th 2019 A group of [Sir] Knights stumbled upon a group of orcs seated on logs, Intrigued by the lively scene and driven by their own curiosity, the Knights decided to approach the orcish gathering. Despite being strangers to this orcish company, the Knights felt compelled to join in, eager to contribute their own stories and experiences to the vibrant exchange. unbeknownst to the main group, the crafty orcs stealthily abducted one of the cheerful intoxicated Knights, muffling his cries and forcibly dragging him into the depths of the cave. Inside, an insidious plan unfolded as the orcs prepared to turn their captive into a feast. With grim determination, they seasoned their ill-fated prisoner, kindling the fire beneath him to begin the macabre cooking process.
However! amidst the rising flames, the captured Knight summoned every ounce of his strength and unleashed a resounding yell that echoed beyond the cave's confines. The chilling cry pierced through the air, reaching the ears of his unsuspecting comrades outside. Startled by the unexpected sound, the Knights sprang into action, their instincts sharpened by the urgency of their comrade's distress. Unsheathing their swords they charged towards the cave entrance, their hearts ablaze with a potent mix of fury and concern. The orcs, with cunning intent, urged the knights to relax, momentarily causing a flicker of hesitation within their ranks. However, the knights' flicker of hesitation swiftly dissipated, unaffected by the orcs' attempt to sway them. The clash erupted as the Knights collided head-on with the scheming orcs. Swords and axes clashed, sparks flew, and battle cries resounded throughout the cavern. Fueled by the unwavering desire to save their captured ally, the Knights fought valiantly against the horde of adversaries, their strikes aimed at both rescue and retribution. In this monumental clash of wills, the fate of the kidnapped Knight hung in the balance. The outcome of the conflict would not only determine his survival but also ignite a longstanding conflict between the Knights and the relentless orcish forces, forever altering the course of their intertwined destinies.
The clan surged with ferocity, but a true chieftain was absent, leaving them to rely solely on the elder orc mage's wisdom and magics. However, it was a raw brutality that remained untaught. As the freezing stars adorned the night sky, a young orc stepped forward to share a tale during the captivating campfire gathering. The entire clan turned their heads in astonishment as they beheld an awe-inspiring sight. Standing proudly before them was a vigorously muscular orc, exuding the formidable might of Drug'gar and the blazing intensity in the eyes reminiscent of Vrishnak. In that moment, it became unmistakably clear that Bargtohk, this powerful and resolute orc, was destined to ascend as the next indomitable chieftain of the clan.
On June 2019, Bargtohk, youthful and resolute, claimed the throne as his own, unleashing his raw power upon it for the very first time..
Ne'rull hands Bargtohk Trugagh's Quill Pen dipped in blood to write his part in on that old Bloodied Rock
Bargtohk felt that the Clan had once again followed the old trails into the mud. From being a very feared and dangerous raiding party, consisting of several profficient lurskr'z with one especially reknown named Lushrun'Mudar. And with a greater vision of something else, something more than just their dark cavern, The Bloodrock Clan started to produce warships, that could carry them and their weapons of war to the island of Nusero - the home of the wealthy Knight's Guild and their allies, the Pathfinders Guild. A three-way struggle took place at Castle Nusero. The Bloodrock Clan, showcasing their age and might and the younger subservient Bloodclan attempting to battle the Knights and the Pathfinders, and laying siege to the Castle itself - while the aggressive Boulderfist orcs charged into the ranks of the orcish invaders, desperately trying to kill the Eldur Mojoka, Ne'rull. The mojoka had ridicule and taunted the Boulderfist Orcs previously, something their Warbozz Ur'rik did not take lightly at all. The Bloodrock Clan was successful in their attack, both in defeating the Boulderfist Clan and forcing the human defenders on their knees
grabbing and pillaging enormous amount of golden crowns and resources, which made the construction of the Bloodrock Clan Fort possible. Life was enrichen and prosperous for some time - before the reality of loosing many potent orcish warriors and raiders really begun to take its toll on the Clan. Lushrun'Mudar being one of them, and the hardworking Tol'chok was another orc that put all his energy into the establishment and growth of the Hai. With them and others klomped, the spiral went downwards.
The other surviving Orcs grew fat and lazy, and without a Klerggoth taking the reigns of Leadership - the Clan was once again down in the mud. It was then familiar whispers re-appeared in Bargtohk's head. Whispers with a chanting rythme "Kwat da Tra... Kwat da Tra..." The same whispers had been heard in Bargtohk's dreams prio to the attack on Nusero Island. The young Orc was not able to fully comprehend its meaning, but a strong feeling of determination begun to pulse in every muscle and limb of his body. His bloodlust increased in potency, and his ambition became to Lead. Not only to bring the Hai back up from the mud, but to become the Greatest Klerggoth that the Clan had ever seen. The now outcast Velg'amog made a futile attempt to stop the prominent Bargtohk in the first Klerggoth klomp held in the world of Avadon. The two fighting sides were evenly matched in numbers, but Bargtohk had strong supporters in Grunts like Natrohk,G'hun,Gib'dat,Zugu,Gnaar'sh,Gulark. Velg'amog, made a vital tactical flaw, leaving himself in the open. Bargtohk took advantage of this, commanding his side to charge straight for the contender. Velg was quickly overrun and klomped -
making Bargtohk the new Klerggoth of the Clan in June 2019

(Longer Version Of History)
In August of 1998, a player that went by the name Grunk created a guild called the Bloodrock Orc Clan (BOC). To help his clan get started, he called together all of his friends that he had made in his short life in the world of Ultima Online. About twenty people wished to join him in his dream. Grunk chose the shard of Sonoma because it was a new, young shard at the time. Less lag, less established characters. After consulting with his friends and much discussion, they chose the area east of Cove and southwest of Vesper due to much space and freedom to build an orcish village. The first hut was placed and the first guildstone was laid. The clan was born.
A few key people stepped up to assist Grunk in his creation. Among these were Trugagh, Gompf, and K'Chomp, who all were given the title of Lord under the War Chief, Grunk. The first steps to running the clan were being put in place and money was being saved for more huts. At this time of youth, the clan fought many enemies known as "blue player-killers". One such group even set a house north of the orc village that held a vendor selling the orc supplies they looted.
In September of 1998, the clan was in full swing. About four huts were placed and leadership was working hard to make the clan enjoyable. Trugagh was leading fight nights once a week and establishing orcish champions, Gompf and a young orc named Wazdakka Gutzmeg was leading hunts and raids often. Things were going great.
Soon the orcs learn of a fort near the Desert of Compassion that is empty for the taking. Grunk decides to pack up everything and move. Back then, huts couldn't be redeeded so we had to leave our huts by Cove and place new ones by the new fort. A new stone was placed at the new location and labeled Bloodrock Clan (BC). This move not only took us away from land we knew, but also put us right beside the virtuous player-run city of Oasis in the desert. Oasis, surprisingly, accepted us with open arms. The leader of Oasis, Jonas, donated a hut right in the center of Oasis city to us along with a sum of 50,000 gold. We were established fast in the new area with huts that ranged from shrines to training hut.
At this time, Wazdakka took a large step into leadership. He was around every day leading hunts and raids. His hard work was unbelievable. With Wazdakka in power, he created a rough and tough scouting group aptly labeled The Bloodaxes. This was our first subdivision of Bloodrock and showed that we were on our way to becoming huge.
In October of 1998, things took a drastic change. Oasis was still considered friends, but their guards were making it a habit of killing orcs and then denying it to their leadership. The entire shard seemed to turn into blue player-killers.
Then the worst thing of all happened. Grunk was missing. No "I'll be back", no "Goodbye", no nothing. Things were at a standstill. For about two weeks, everyone sat inactive... waiting and wondering if Grunk was coming back. He had been the only real leader they knew and they were lost without him.
At the end of October, Wazdakka called upon Trugagh and asked him if he would mind co-leading the clan with him. Trugagh, who had been mining day and night saving up for another orcish village, accepted instantly. They bought a new hut and placed it north of the Yew Orc Fort and placed a new guildstone. The clan was in its second phase. A phase that wouldn't last long.
The beginning of November was a time of change once again. Wazdakka, after leading a large hunt in Dungeon Shame and getting in a huge fight with one of our half-orcs, informed Trugagh that he wished to leave the clan due to other interests (left to help a friend make an elf guild). Trugagh turned to Bloodrock's top mage Og to help in leadership affairs. Og accepted and helped all he could. However, at the end of November, Og alerted the clan to his departure. The same leadership grieves that caused Waz to leave hit Og just as hard. Trugagh was on his own with 30 orcs left to lead.
Around the beginning of December, Trugagh disappeared without a trace (computer got hit by lightning). None of the clan knew what to do or where to go. Being abandoned for a second time was the clan's undoing. When Trugagh returned near the end of December, there was only five active members left. Trugagh, Grelug GrugBoom, Thraka Gangaskul, Gruggug, and another orc long forgotten. With much sadness, Trugagh disbanded the Bloodrock Clan.
Trugagh returned to his home shard of Great Lakes in June of 1999. Determined as ever to bring the clan to life and make it succeed at all costs, he placed a new hut east of Cove in the same location as they were when they first started on Sonoma. The guildstone was placed and old orcs came pouring back to the clan. Thraka Gangaskul, Wazdakka Gutzmeg, Urglat, Rughak, Grelug GrugBoom, Og, and many new orcs such as Rogrog, Gnosh, Atticukuk (Itchy), Ruhk, Uruk-Hai, and BlitzDakka filled the ranks with unbelievable devotion. Within two months, the clan swelled to over 80 members. Bloodrock was the hugest it had ever been.
At the end of July, like before, the clan decided to move to the orc fort north of the Desert of Compassion. This time around, however, they could deed up their old huts and place them in the new area. Things went much more smooth this time due to the war guilds being different. No longer was everyone able to be blue player-killers. Now everyone guildwarred and fought each other. When reds did come by the fort, warring guilds were fast to come to our aid and kill the enemies swiftly.
Nearly a full year passed with just pure fun and roleplaying going on. When March of 2000 rolled around, things were going to be turned in an awkward direction. Trugagh stepped down as chieftain of Bloodrock and handed leadership to his brother, a fierce and terrifying orc named Kyth. Kyth no longer wanted the clan in its nice, peaceful state. He wanted the clan doing what it did best, killing humans. This is a period of time that everyone on the entire guildstone was booted off and Bloodrock became chaos. Every war declared against the orcs was accepted. Only the most dedicated and loyal orcs were put back in the guild.
On April 3, 2000, Bloodrock was number one in the warlist of all of Great Lakes. Within one month, the clan turned from a clone orc clan into something unique and exciting. No longer was the orcs judging who should join into the fun. Now everyone had a chance to take part in the roleplaying.
By April 30, the clan was taking part in one of the hugest seer-run quests on Great Lakes ever. Grak da Blak, a black orc, came and offered lots of gold for the orcs to raid the Sandlewood Inn. Kyth happily accepted, wanting nothing more than to kill more humans. The raids lasted for a week straight. On May 13, the Black One, a black dragon of chaos, appeared and appointed Kyth and Thraka as Chaos Knights in his army. This turned out to be the most controversial quest of all of Great Lakes history when the evil side won and the Gold One, gold dragon of virtue, was slain.
The clan hit number one war guild in all of UO on June 20, 2000. This established the clan as not just another clone and definitely not a fluke. Kyth was around nightly defending the fort against every enemy that came. Bloodrock had more guts than any other guild in UO history. Wars peaked at 216, highest in UO history, and the orcs stayed in a fort that they could not ban from. They were in ring armor and rarely had the possessions humans used to win in combat. Mounts were never used. Everything was against the orcs, but yet they stayed in their fort and they kept fighting. No other guild, even to this day, can claim such a glory.
Early August 2000 marked the end of Kyth's bloody reign. Thousands of enemies lay dead and the clan reached heights most could only imagine. Kyth passed down the chieftain rank to a very loyal and dedicated orc named Vrishnak. With his power gone, Kyth was only seen a few more times since but seems to have faded away for good now.
Vrishnak proved to be a good choice as chieftain. He led with a steady hold. Nothing changed drastically, good or bad. He helped the clan when none other would. Leadership was hard to come by and if not for Vrishnak, things would have went sharply downhill. Vrish was the first orc ever to be voted into chieftain rank and was the first to take part in our new way of establishing chieftains afterwards. Orcs fought for rank halfway into his reign and Vrish defended against the lord Grurag and against the shaman Bidash. Both times winning without much problem.
Vrishnak lost his rank when the assassin orc Bashnak challenged him alone away from prying eyes on June 20, 2001. They battled until Vrishnak lay dead at Bashnak's feet with green poison around his wounds. Bashnak was the first chieftain to assassinate another orc for chieftain rank.
Bashnak was a bit of an inactive leader but led a few memorable events such as in the Skara Brae Fair event where the orcs built a fort out of logs, spears, and boxes in the woods for all to come and view. Also around this time, the clan began expanding into other shards. Glunk and Vrishnak led the expansion to Napa Valley, Zarbag, the legendary orcish archer, led into Atlantic, and Xegugg led into AOL Legends.
On September 19, 2001, Bashnak lost his rank in a squad fight between all divisions of the clan on Great Lakes. Emerging as the winner above all the other squads was the Bombed Drunk Urks led by Xegugg. This marked the first ever female chieftain in Bloodrock History.
Bloodrock on Atlantic, Napa Valley, and AOL began to wane. The orcs leading those branches always considered Great Lakes as their main server so the other servers Bloodrock was on always took a backseat. Leadership wasn't overly concerned about them becoming successful since they were side projects. Xegugg was chieftain on GL, Zarbag was becoming a legend in his own right with his crafter on GL, and Glunk was becoming very busy in real life.
Xegugg led the clan for a very long time and it was decided that Bloodrock needed a new fresh chieftain and needed to give Xegugg thanks for leading for so long. On -----, a vote took place on who to make the next chieftain. In the end, it was decided that Zarbag most deserved it. He had been with the clan so long and had always been a key member. On the same night that the orcs celebrated Zarbag becoming chieftain, Grool made the announcement that Xegugg would become the newest Bloodrock elder. This also marked the first ever female elder in clan history.
During Zarbag's reign, the clan slowed down drastically. Zarbag wasn't able to be around much so the clan had no direction or leadership. With no one to tell them what to do, the orcs did what they did best. Raid. Every night the orcs set out to kill the humans. This is a time that an orc by the name of Drug'gar, aptly titled the Orcish Butcher, got to shine. Our enemies fell and Bloodrock was into a full blown war with anyone that would come around. A guild named the Black Company lived right beside the fort and had always bragged about being a good fighting guild, even though they used dragons, blue healers, house banning to live, and exploited about any bug they could to get an edge. Drug'gar showed them that nothing was going to stop the orcish horde. The Black Company died by the ton and Drug'gar was proudly banned from every house our enemies owned. Soon after, the Black Company packed their bags and moved to a distant location, away from Drug'gar. It is commonly believed that Drug is the most hated orc in our clan, solely because none stood a chance against him.
After Trugagh had went inactive, the clan had a rank called the Lead Elder. It was a position that was appointed by majority vote by the elders. The lead elder was in charge of overseeing that everything went on the straight and narrow. Up until this point, Thraka had been in that position. However, Thraka was having some pressing business in real life, so the clan held a vote to establish another lead elder. By majority vote, Grool was promoted to Lead Elder rank.
The clan was set into an instant wave of motivation. Grool came in like a steamroller and laid down the law about every new thing he was going to do. Rules were changed, the ranks were changed, events began to happen, and the orcs were taking notice. He had an idea for every aspect of the clan. Grool was very determined to make sure that everyone followed his word just as they had followed Trugagh, and this would prove to be his undoing. Every time an orc went against him, Grool got more and more frustrated. When the OSI tournament came around and Trugagh and Thraka allowed the orcs to participate while Grool didn't want them to, he snapped. He resigned as lead elder shortly after and sold his accounts.
With Grool gone, Thraka was active again and was appointed as lead elder again. He kept things running and kept the roleplay happening with the clan since Zarbag was still not around much. Things were going slower but still going alright.
And then it hit. On February 11, 2003, OSI published the Age of Shadows expansion to Ultima Online. The clan loved the idea of reds to run around Felucca so they could fight them, but that never really happened. Instead, the semi-dead Felucca turned into a fully dead Felucca. So outraged with the game turning into item-based combat from skill-based, many orcs left UO all together. Trugagh (who was still active as his son Utheg), Thraka, and many others all left Ultima for good with other games in their sights. With the dramatic drop in clan members, the clan began to suffer. No one was coming to Felucca to join the clan. Leadership had quit Ultima or went inactive. With no leadership and no one logging in, the clan dwindled to a new low in membership since its rebirth on Great Lakes.
Not willing to watch things get any worse, Trugagh came back to Ultima in late May to set things on the right course again. He took control of the guildstone, the website, the forums, the IRC channels, everything. He was in full control. For some reason, he disallowed any recruiting suddenly. The orcs didn't know what to think.
What soon took place was a scouting of the ranks. The most loyal and greatest of the orcs were being looked for to lead the clan. Trugagh knew that he didn't have the love for the game as he once did and knew only someone that still did could lead with true zeal. The possible names were selected and the events began to occur.
On October 5, a chieftain clomp happened. After a bloody war, the winner was emerged. Thigog the bowyer was crowned as the new chieftain of Bloodrock. The orcs cheered and seen great things on the horizon. Thigog had long developed a reputation for being an active orc and compassionate to his guildmates. It was no surprise that on November 8, when Trugagh had the clan vote for the next elder, that Thigog was one of two voted in. Granak the mage was the other elder whom the orcs trusted just as closely.
In December of 2003, Trugagh left for what he thought was for good. He had resurged the clan with new leadership and a new life and closed that chapter of his life. Thigog and Granak led with great enthusiasm and kept the clan going strong. Aggressive warriors began taking the Klerggoth(chieftain) rank. Hidush was the first chieftain of this era to practice raiding more than roleplaying events. He was succeeded later by Ug'Nak, an orc that held the same ideals. Everywhere they went, they were fighting. The clan was the aggressor, constantly leaving the fort to seek out the enemies. It was at this time that another orc shined just as Drug'gar did in the past. Leduruk slaughtered humans by the dozens. In a chaotic wartime, he showed that the orcs weren't there to just fight, but they were there to win. Led was the second orc in Bloodrock history to be labeled Orcish Butcher. The constant chaos of always fighting takes its toll on the best though. A little over a half a year after taking elder rank, Thigog went into hiding. Ug'Nak, whom hadn't been in chieftain rank for long, went into hiding as well. With things slowing down once again, Granak chose to take his leave. The clan went into a true hibernation. In the eras before, things would get slow but there were always a few active at the least. It wasn't so this time though. All the orcs were gone.
In Feburary of 2007, Thraka (his orc, Grultuk, as chieftain) and Nerull decided to jump start the clan on a player-run UO server called Angel Island. The rules of the server was perfect for orcs. Murderers weren't punished with statloss but instead was sent to an island that served as a jail if they were caught(killed). There they worked off their murder terms so there was some regulation to open player-killing, but it wasn't extreme. Bloodrock seemed to be made for such an atmosphere. Once word spread, many orcs from the past began to resurface. Gruch, Vrishnak, Drug'gar, Ronk, Yulakgh, Grurag, Xukluk, Grur'bak, Omegutho, Thigog, C'Hahguk, and many more were powering the orcish horde upon our enemies. Adam Ant and the administration of AI let the clan fight for and build its own fort. With a home and plenty of returning orcs, things looked to be alive once again.
Numbers continued to swell to amazing levels with the new chieftain Krug'gruk. Not only was Bloodrock the largest guild on Angel Island, it was also the most dominate. Overwelming our enemies with superior numbers and strength, the clan was unstoppable. The clan had a town's worth of huts, enough gold to fill a dragon's horde, and supplies constantly upkept by Thigog. With night after night events ran by Bloodrock, AI got the attention of several roleplaying guilds aswell. During the battle to win the fort, the population on AI surged to record levels.
With such success came much jealousy. Bloodrock noticed that the 'dewds' on the server were getting -very- frustrated. They felt the orcs were getting special treatment by being given a static fort even though the fort was no more special than any other fort ingame. They were also upset that instead of going out to jump a player or two everynight in their idea of pvp, they would run into a massive orcish horde that would chop down their entire guild in seconds. Then started the flames. Every day the 'dewds' would flame the messageboards demanding that Bloodrock get things taken away from them such as the fort the orcs earned, the healer that was a couple screens away from the fort and always had been there way before Bloodrock came to AI, etc. The clan had always played at a major disadvantage with the restrictions to magery, mounts, and equipment. Since that wasn't good enough, the orcs asked the administrators to code it where no one in Bloodrock could ever give a murder count, even to the guilds that didn't war them. Putting them at another disadvantage, the administrators gladly accepted the request. To add to it, they also took away the wandering healer a few screens away from the fort so that no orc could resurrect close by, but instead had to run a long ways to the town healer. While the 'dewds' continued to flame roleplayers on the messageboards, the same treatment was taken ingame where they threw racist remarks, abused game mechanics against Bloodrock, etc. Things were getting far out of hand, yet the Angel Island administrators did nothing. It became apparent that the orcs weren't the only ones being harrassed as virtually every single roleplay guild left AI during this time. All the hard work the orcs did to get those players on Angel Island was for nothing. The server population was bottoming out aswell. Night after night, the orcs would run around ingame and find not even one single player. Bored and tired of the games the administrators of AI let take place, Bloodrock took its large orc horde and left Angel Island in the spring of 2008.
With so many orcs laying dormant, it wasn't long before the clan found a new home, a player-run server called Second Age. The rules were almost exactly like they were back when the Second Age expansion came out for Ultima Online. None of the newer rules that ruined Ultima Online were on this server. It wasn't long before Bloodrock realized that the rules wasn't what was so impressive about this one, it was the administrators. Being so frustrated with AI admins, the Second Age ones were like saints. They welcomed the clan to the server with open arms and knew the sacrifices the orcs made for the enjoyment of others. The horde began growing rapidly like before under the leadership of a feurk named Skrall'nig. This time, not only did Bloodrock become the largest guild on the server, it had the blessing of the players that played there aswell.
And this is where we are....
